Spot Colour Printing
Spot colours are individually-mixed inks that are chosen from a colour swatch. The industry-standard colour model is supplied by Pantone ©.
Spot colours are used in situations where colour accuracy is essential, e.g. corporate logos.
They can also be added to 4 colour work such as marketing materials to preserve the colour accuracy of the brand.

CMYK Printing
- a.k.a. 4 colour printing, full colour printing
Process colours are normally used where continuous tones (such as in photographs) are required.
The primary colours Cyan , Magenta & Yellow are mixed with Black to produce the full range of colours. |

DL (110 x 220)
Generally the most common of "office" envelopes. Sized to take a sheet of A4 paper folded twice, ideal for invoices, statements and general letters.
Available with a choice of window sizes and positions (including right hand windows), Peel & Seal or Self-Seal closures are the most popular for ease of sealing.

Increased in popularity since the introduction of Pricing in Proportion, this is sized to take either an unfolded A5 sheet of paper or A4 folded in half.
As with many of the typical office envelopes, more commonly supplied as either Self-Seal or Peel & Seal and with growing popularity for premium paper weights or more vibrant colours.
