FREE ARTWORK & DELIVERY: Generally, envelope artwork is fairly straightforward, however Royal Mail do have some guidelines that need to be adhered to so if you'd prefer us to create the artwork on your behalf then please let us know and we'll help where we can. All the prices shown need VAT added at the current rate. Delivery is free to one UK mainland address.

Is Artwork/Design included in the price?
Sometimes. If the artwork is very straightforward, e.g. a standard Freepost envelope, then we would generally create the artwork at no charge. Once we know what you require, we will always get back to you and let you know if there are any artwork costs involved. We do have a very experienced design team in-house who can help prepare any artwork required at a sensible and realistic cost. Whether it's brochures, flyers, letterheads or even a company logo, we have the expertise required. |

Will the flap affect the artwork shown on the envelope front?
This point has to be considered when starting your design. Small runs (of a few thousand envelopes) are printed with the envelope already made up, whereas longer runs we would print the details first, and then the envelope is made up after.
If your artwork bleeds over the edge of the envelope then please contact us first and we'll advise on which side of the envelope we need a small clear margin, to enable the press to grip the envelope without touching the wet ink. |

Does it cost any extra to have my return address printed on the envelope flap?
No, there is no extra charge for this service. |

After you've received my artwork, will I see a proof?
Yes. We will first check your artwork onscreen and then create a PDF proof through our software and then email you the file for final checking. |

Spot Colour Printing
Spot colours are individually-mixed inks that are chosen from a colour swatch. The industry-standard colour model is supplied by Pantone ©.
Spot colours are used in situations where colour accuracy is essential, e.g. corporate logos.
They can also be added to 4 colour work such as marketing materials to preserve the colour accuracy of the brand.

CMYK Printing
- a.k.a. 4 colour printing, full colour printing
Process colours are normally used where continuous tones (such as in photographs) are required.
The primary colours Cyan , Magenta & Yellow are mixed with Black to produce the full range of colours. |

Generally the most common of "office" envelopes. Sized to take a sheet of A4 paper folded twice, ideal for invoices, statements and general letters.
Available with a choice of window sizes and positions (including right hand windows), Peel & Seal or Self-Seal closures are the most popular for ease of sealing.
