Standard compliment slips measure 210mm x 99mm. However, if you require a different size then this can easily be produced, usually at no extra cost.
If designing your own compliment slip we would recommend leaving a 10mm border from the edge of the paper to the start of your artwork. The bottom margin could be 7mm. This layout will help to maximise the area you need to write on.
Compliment Slip Material
Our standard compliment slip material is a top-quality, 115gsm ultra-white laser-guaranteed Bond. We offer a range of letterhead material including Conqueror. (Please contact us for prices on Conqueror paper). The most popular 'flavour' is brilliant white wove, which is ideal for desktop printers etc.
There are quite a few superior alternatives to the Conqueror© range, which now carries a small premium.
Please Note: we don't cut corners on any of the materials we supply. We use only inkjet/laser-guaranteed materials. Please ask for samples.

Spot Colour Printing
Spot colours are individually-mixed inks that are chosen from a colour swatch. The industry-standard colour model is supplied by Pantone ©.
Spot colours are used in situations where colour accuracy is essential, e.g. corporate logos.
They can also be added to 4 colour work such as marketing materials to preserve the colour accuracy of the brand.

Process colours are normally used where continuous tones (such as in photographs) are required.
The primary colours Cyan , Magenta & Yellow are mixed with Black to produce the full range of colours. |

Do I really need compliment slips?
Some businesses can't live without them, others have no need for them.
It really depends on your circumstances. If you write a lot of cheques in the course of your business then compliment slips work out much cheaper than using letterheads when you need to quickly add a short message to the recipient.
They come in handy when you just need to write a few lines and especially useful if your message is informal.
As they fit a standard DL envelope perfectly they are particularly useful for instantly identifying yourself to the recipient.
Think of them as a company notelet.
