International Business Card Collectors

The International Business Card Collectors is a relatively new collecting club, formed in 1999 to utilize the Internet for easy, fast, economical communication and networking.

Their goal is to bring collectors together, to educate, and to entertain. There are no membership dues. The site is very personable, featuring member sites and cards/photos, card collecting hints, related links and both a Business Card Hall of Fame and a featured Card of the Day page, showing a business card submitted by an IBCC member.

The site also hosts The Business Card Collectors' webring.

Appropriately, business cards comprise the bulk of the visuals on the site.

People close to Craig came up with a bright idea: a campaign soliciting get-well cards from the public in the hopes of landing him in the Guinness Book of World Records. It worked rather well. The chain letter appeal netted over 16 million cards in less than a year, and Craig won the title. But the cards kept coming. And coming. Somewhere around the 30 million mark... <read more>
